Luna Goami

Luna Goami Luna Goami

Singer & Lyricist

Known for a free, expressive vocal style, she works mainly on scores and theme songs for dramas and anime. Her singing has drawn attention in acclaimed works such as the drama "Saiai" and the anime "Mr. Osomatsu." Beyond pop, one of her signatures is her "invented-language" singing—improvising melodies and singing in imaginary words—and she is also known for Bulgarian-voice and similar styles.

Since elementary school she made radio programs and stories from everyday sounds and voices captured on a cassette recorder, becoming immersed in the world of audio. A radio broadcast in which Ryuichi Sakamoto praised her as having "a voice and talent with a distinctive frequency" drew attention during her student years, and she began working in singing and composition while studying at Waseda University. She resonates a thrilling voice that shifts between whispers and emotional cries.

She has taken part in numerous stage-music projects, including as a guest vocalist for the "Fate/Grand Order Orchestra Concert" and the stage production "Demon Slayer." For the theme song and score of the film "Kaku Renbo," she was nominated for Best Composer at the Nice International Film Festival in France. Under the motto "to move someone's heart, you must keep moving your own," she continues to explore every form of vocal expression.
